The year is 1984. Crime rules the streets of New York and its boroughs.

In a desperate attempt to escape gang life and eventual induction into the mob, moody young boxer Vince blindly follows two strange Englishmen back to their homeland. Without knowing whether their plans include making him a rock star, a rent boy or a laughing stock, Vince stumbles through London new wave society the way only an obtuse American can.

When androgynous celebrity Jik O’Blivion returns from concert touring, he finds Vince charming his best friends. With enough problems on his plate from being booted from his aristocratic family and more recently his punk record label, O’Blivion finds Vince an amusing irritant.

But he’s not alone in his disdain for the American. Along the way, Vince learns there’s no escaping gang violence as he makes fresh enemies of the local skinheads and his Brooklyn brotherhood threaten to lure him back home.

If he can finally put down his knife once and for all, Vince's new, colorful friends just might teach him all he needs to know about style, love and what it takes to be a man.

Witty, poignant and always engaging Enter Oblivion will leave you wanting more of the Brits and their rough ward.
